No, it's not a UFO (or celebrity) sighting, despite the title. Okay, so for those of you who missed the eclipse last week (the last total lunar eclipse until 2010), YouTube user, Fishersofmenvideo, from Newfoundland, Canada, was kind enough to upload a video of the eclipse, speeded up X80, so you don't have to sit through ten minutes of footage. Interestingly, he points out that in the Bible, book of Acts, chapter 2, verse 20, it says,"The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, Before the coming of that great and notable Day of the Lord." Now, the verse number 20 corresponds to the 20th day of the month, the chapter number 2 corresponds to February, the second month of the year. But what really got me is the fact that Acts is the 44th book in the Bible. Adding 4 plus 4, standard procedure in numerical coding, gives us 8, corresponding to 2008. I never thought of that. Hmm...gets you thinking, doesn't it?
